So, I’ve been messing around with this crazy idea lately – buying a used hot air balloon. Yeah, I know, it sounds nuts, but hear me out!

The Hunt Begins

First, I started digging around online. Where do you even find a used hot air balloon? It’s not like they’re on every street corner. I spent hours on random websites, forums, and some really sketchy-looking pages. Seriously, some of these sites looked like they hadn’t been updated since the 90s.

Getting My Hands Dirty (Figuratively)

After a lot of dead ends, I finally found a few potential sellers. I made some calls, sent a bunch of emails, and mostly got a lot of “are you serious?” kind of responses. I guess not everyone expects a random dude to call about buying a giant balloon.

  • One guy had a balloon that looked like it had seen better days – patches on patches, faded colors, the whole deal.
  • Another seller was super cagey about the balloon’s history, which made me a little nervous. Red flag!
  • Finally I found a person,he showed me some pics and told me this balloon is ok.

Almost There…

I am keeping asking about the details, such as how old the balloon is and how many time it had flied and if there were any accidents. I am still waiting for his reply, wish me luck! I will share the balloon’s photo when i get it.
