Alright, so I decided I needed to get some balloons for my kid’s birthday party. I didn’t really know where to start, so I just went to a few of the big stores around here.
First, I hit up Michaels. You know, the craft store? They had some stuff, yeah, but mostly just things to keep the balloons in place. You know, like balloon weights and ribbons. Not exactly what I was looking for, but I grabbed some ribbon anyway, just in case.
Next, I headed over to Kroger. I figured they’re a big grocery store, they might have something. And they did! They had a bunch of those pre-filled helium balloons. I even saw one that said “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” on it. Perfect! I picked up a few of those, figuring they’d be a good start.
After that, I checked out Target. I mean, Target has everything, right? And sure enough, they had a whole section of balloons. All sorts of colors and shapes. I ended up getting a bunch of different ones there. They had a same-day delivery thing, but I was already out, so I just took them with me.
- Michaels is good for balloon accessories, like weights and ribbons.
- Kroger is a good bet for pre-filled helium balloons.
- Target has a wide variety of balloons, in all kinds of colors and shapes.
Here’s what I learned:
So yeah, that’s how I ended up with way more balloons than I probably needed. But hey, at least the party will look festive! I guess if you need a lot of balloons, just visit the big stores, you can get all the balloons you need there!
Oh, and I also found out that there are people who will deliver balloons and even decorate with them, you can find those professionals easily. That is so cool! But I just did not have that kind of budget.
